George Christakis is 25 years old and he was born in Greece, Crete. He uses digital techniques to create his artwork. He thinks of his work as somewhat surreal, conceptual, and "landscapes with a bit of craziness." His work involves painting and photographs. His biggest inspiration is music. He makes work for book covers and albums.
I chose this artist because, of the peacefulness of their work, while also having a sense of risk. The people in his work seem to be isolated from everyone, but also free from everyone. Showing the person in such a big space, the person is so small in scale, in the work. But there present is very strong to me, the person is not afraid to take risks, and not afraid to be alone.
